I’ve been passionately involved in the fitness industry now for over 25 years. Firstly as a national level competitive athlete (click here for contest photos) and now as a highly successful personal trainer. So rest assured you are not getting a 'wet behind the ears trainer' that those marvellous fitness courses are pumping out by the hundreds each weekend. I have been operating my personal training business here in Greensborough since the middle of 2000. In that time I have helped many 100's of people, male & female, young & old, to realise their health and fitness goals (and beyond...!!). I get a real buzz helping men, women, boys and girls to improve their health, increase their fitness and maximise their quality of life. I work extremely well with people who are looking to make big changes and who are prepared to do what is required to make this happen. Achieving amazing results is never easy (and if any personal trainer tells you it is they are straight out lying i'm afraid) but the effort is well and truly worth it, I will promise you that. And you can rest assured that all the effort you put in won't be wasted as my 1 on 1 Personal Training System will allow you to get maximum results in the fastest time possible (and it will be safe!!). My formal personal training education was conducted at the National College of Fitness on the Gold Coast (which has gone on to become the Australian Institute of Fitness). There I learnt the safest and most effective strength and conditioning exercises. Then, combining this knowledge with over 20 years practical experience in the fitness industry, and in close consultation with exercise scientists and physiotherapists, I designed my 1 on 1 Personal Training System. As a result I am able to help all my clients safely achieve maximum (lasting long term) results in minimum time. I am fully registered as a fitness professional with Australia's governing body Fitness Australia. I firmly believe it is extremely important that today to be an elite level personal trainer you should not only possess a detailed knowledge of anatomy and exercise physiology and have many years of achieving great results (both personally and for clients), but you should also have a highly motivating and inspirational affect on all your clients. I take great pride from all the amazing results many of my clients have achieved over the years and I’m also extremely proud of the healthy lifestyle I lead and the level of fitness I’ve achieved through years of hard training and proper nutrition. As a consequence it gives me great satisfaction to see my achievements inspire and motivate each of my clients to reach their own individual health and fitness goals. I also pride myself on having the ability to bring out the best in all the people I train. So don't think you need to be an athlete to do personal training with me, most of my clients are everyday people who just want to be fitter, healthier and have more energy.
